| The Toocool Set B Teachers’ Guide provides both group and individual activities that support and extended the students’ experiences with literacy. The activities focus on how readers and writers construct meaning, and introduce students to a range of strategies needed for effective language use. There are ample opportunities for independent learning, and group activities can fit either small- or whole-group instruction. The activities in this teachers’ guide are organized under each of the titles in the Toocool Set B series. Under each title there is a guided reading activity (The model lesson) and a series of activities in which students may engage independently or with teacher assistance (Student activities) to: - Activate prior knowledge
