The Toocool audio-assisted reading series helps students transition from instructional support to independent reading, through building fluency, comprehension, and confidence.
Toocool is the star of different sports adventures -- all of which take place mainly in his imagination. Bring your students into Toocool's world of hilarious sports adventures.- Twenty titles available in guided reading levels K and L for transitioning students into fluent, confident readers.
- Use Toocool in small groups, for listening centers (when paired with the audio CDs), buddy reading, or to send home for added practice.
- Boys often struggle early as readers and writers. Toocool engages boys in reading and helps them build self-esteem and confidence for an overall positive attitude toward reading.
- Audio component is also available, which provides students with fluent models of reading.
- Follow-up activities and Q & A help reinforce understanding and provide teachers with a means to check reading comprehension.
