| Build reading stamina and improve comprehension with engaging books in the Chapters Books (High-Fliers) series. After transitioning students to fluency, you’ll want to keep challenging them to read more and to read widely. High-Fliers books are great for independent or small, group/guided reading. The interest level of the topics makes them a good fit for older readers who may be struggling, as well as intermediate readers who need to be challenged. Nonfiction titles in the series include a research and discover format. Fiction titles include a variety of titles from adapted classics to humorous narratives. - Research titles: Biographies in biographical style allow students to research individuals who have influenced history.
- Discover titles: Introduce students to new information and writing styles, exciting photos, and fact-filled diagrams.
- Fiction titles: Provide students with exciting books to keep them reading, including: science fiction, sports, humor themes, intriguing characters, twists in plot and adapted classics such as "Frankenstein" and "Robinson Crusoe."
